Why use a natural dog shampoo bar?

Good question! So many dog shampoos on the market today talk about how they are deoderizing, bug repellent, moisturizing, etc. Are they telling the truth?, probably. The only problem is, they aren't telling you how they come up with those properties IN their shampoos. Multiple chemicals, preservatives, and artificial colors are used to achieve the properties that they put on their labels. You wouldn't knowingly feed your dog something that would make them sick or uncomfortable, so why would you want to bath your dog in something that could do the same thing!? 

What is in your natural dog soap?

Our dog shampoo bars are made with a 100% natural base of Olive, Coconut, Palm & Castor oils. We've added some wonderful natural essential oils for more healthy benefits, did you know that lavendar oil is a natural flea repellent? We do offer some dog soap bars that contain a fragrance oil. These fragrance oils, while not necessarily naturally occuring, are to make your dog smell good and in no way effect natural oil qualities of our soaps. Your dogs skin will be just healthy with a fragrance oil bar, while making them smell great too!

Can I use your natural dog soap on my cat?

Absolutely NOT! These soaps are NOT cat friendly and should never be used on a cat. In recent years, evidence has accumulated that essential oils can be toxic to cats, whether taken internally, applied to the skin, or simply inhaled. The liver is most often the organ which is affected by essential oils. Cats' livers are simply not the same as humans' livers, and they lack the ability to properly metabolize the various compounds in essential oils. 

How long will a bar of your dog soap last?

How long the dog soap bar you purchase will last will vary depending on your dogs' coat and how often you bath your dog. I've bathed my 3 dogs each multiple times with one bar. I guarantee that one bar of our natural dog soap will last longer than a bottle of liquid dog soap.

How do I store my dog shampoo bar?

Your bar of natural dog soap will come in a muslin drawstring bag. This bag can be used to store your soap in after each bath and it will keep it dry and ready for the next use. Not only that, but the muslin bag is completely reusable. So once your soap is gone, you can use that muslin bag to store anything you like!

Is coffee really a deodorizer? 

Coffee is a natural deodorizer used to cover up and eliminate smells. Coffee grounds will get rid of onion, garlic, or fish smells that cooking often leaves behind on our hands.
